Hello everyone! Finally one step forward in life! (well..) In school! Akhirnya sekarang udah masuk semester kedua di kehidupan Studienkolleg ini, which means, semua hal ini akan segera berakhir dalam beberapa bulan lagi (Insya Allah) and it feels so weird to be honest. It feels like, you are about to leave (once again) your high school buddies and everyone is continuing their journey and all of that. Inget banget tahun lalu di bulan-bulan ini gua lagi persiapan untuk Aufnahmetest Sommersemester. Attending extra classes, reading lots of Deutsch Einfach magazines.. The memories.
Universität oder Fachhochschule?
Ya. Kembali lagi dengan pertanyaan "Mau kuliah dimana?". Seriously, I thought I had it all in the bag whatsoever, tapi ternyata enggak. Gua kira dengan menjawab "Gue mau jurusan XXX" aja cukup. Tapi ternyata enggak. Sekarang ditambah lagi dengan "University or University OF Applied Sciences?" Apasih bedanya? Kalo secara umumnya sih, Universitas (Uni) itu lebih menitik beratkan pada teori dan penelitian whereas University of Applied Sciences atau Fachhochschule (FH/HS) itu lebih menitik beratkan pada praktik and maybe a bit of research. Jadi kalo bisa dipersen-kan kurang lebih Uni itu 60% Teori + 40% Praktik or maybe less (tergantung jurusan) dan FH/HS itu 60% Praktik + 40% Teori. Tergantung jurusan maksudnya, misalkan kita ambil jurusan Biologi atau Kimia murni di Universitas nanti ujung-ujungnya pasti akan dapat banyak praktikum juga. Ya karena kedua jurusan itu memang banyak hal yang mungkin harus dipraktikkan agar materi bisa dipahami dengan lebih baik.
So.. Where were we? Oh ya, gue masih labil mau ambil perguruan tinggi model apa karena.. Gua orangnya emang labil (lol). By the way.. have I told you how hard it was for me just to decide what should I be majoring in? Hhh.. It was hell. I know nothing about university majors and so do my parents and most of my family members. But, I won't be talking about that today.
Tapi at the end.. Gua memutuskan untuk kuliah di Fachhochschule aja, karena gua pikir otak gue akan meleleh juga kalo gua kuliah di Uni terutama Uni Teknik hahaha #Downside_of_being_a_dumb_person #Sad but hey.. Both places demands a lot the same. Cuma bagian demandingnya aja yang beda. Anyhow sekarang gua lagi stuck diantara dua jurusan which are Biotechnology (Biotechnologie) di Beuth Hochschule Berlin atau Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) di Hochscule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin. #FYI Gua gamau pindah dari Berlin because........ reasons. Pindahan itu capek banget, I mean, gua pindahan yang masih innerhalb satu kota aja capeknya udah gatau lagi, gimana kalo pindah kota? Imagine bawa koper yang berat itu ke dalam bus/kereta dan kalo tiba-tiba ada yang ketinggalan atau something happen on the way. Sebenernya bisa ajasih dikirim pakai jasa pindahan atau paket gitu but.. Nope. Ain't nobody got time fo' dat. Terus belum lagi kita harus adaptasi di lingkungan sekitar and so on. Nah. I'm okay here I guess.
Jadi mengenai kedua pilihan gua. Kenapa gua milih Biotek di Beuth? karena di HTW gaada (lol ) (no) a great thing is that sekarang gua tinggal sangat dekat dengan Beuth. It's literally a 7-10 Minute walk from home. And I love Biology! HOW COOL IS DET? No? Okay. Now now.. What makes me think twice about applying to this major is...
1. My chemistry skills are not so great. It's still better than physics tho.
2. Belum ada gambaran nanti akan kerja dimana setelah lulus jika aku mengambil jurusan ini. Which means, another FBI research on this jurusan is about to happen. If. I do choose this.
Sekarang jurusan kedua, yaitu Teknik Industri. Oh teknik Industri. He's the one who keeps me going and pushing through 'til this very day. Setelah menemukan banyak hal tentang dirinya, hidupku jadi terarah. Mimpi-mimpi sudah mulai dibangun. Tapi..... Ternyata jurusan ini banyak maunya.
1. Harus internship di perusahaan for at least 16 Weeks. 16 freak'n weeks!!
2. HTW located so far away in the east of Berlin.. So far away...
Yep. To make it seems fair I only mentioned two downsides of each. So. Do you have any further suggestions? Like how does life looks like when you major one of those studies? Please kindly tell me in the comment box down below if you have any idea.

Summer well spent
Summer holiday flew sooo quickly and I still remember every single day of it. I also just moved (again..) from my old apartment to a new one with a friend of mine. We rented a Double Room Apartment. So it basically consists of two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a bathroom that only the both of us to share. So that's pretty neat. The price is ok too (€€) and it's not so far from my campus. Around 15 minutes Subway ride. Hopefully this will be my permanent home here in Berlin until I finish all of my studies.
Moving on.. Remember what I said in the previous post about me going somewhere? That's right folks! Guess where I was during my first few days of Summer? Any Clues? Huh? Huh? Huh? Hmm.. You don't know? Really? Well.. Okay then..

KYAAA KYAAA KYAAA My dreams actually came true!!! I was finally there oh god.. It was so amazing! But.. Let me talk about that in another post, okay? He he he
So besides going on a trip, I also worked at a publishing company (does that word exists?..) di percetakan. Nah. Jadi tugas gua kemarin adalah membuat buku-buku sekolah tapi semacam student planer gitu. It kinda looks like this :

Kaya semacam buku tulis gitu, tapi isinya tidak hanya space buat nyatet aja tapi juga ada rangkuman pelajaran, peta dunia, nomor-nomor telepon staf sekolah dll. It was quite handful yet fun. And of course I get paid. How much? Let's just assume it's enough to feed me.
So autumn is just right around the corner. I haven't bought any cold protecting clothes or coats or whatever it is. And again it's gonna be my first autumn experience in my life! I heard the view is going to be pretty with the orange leaves falling from the trees. So, hopefully I get to see that. And what else? I got a new video editor! Finally.. Something that is actually useful. So to try it out, I made another small recap video about the Mini Anime Festival which was being held by Beuth Hochschule Berlin in June 2016. It was before Ramadhan I suppose? And I was still living in my old apartment. So around that time. You'll see me taking a long train trip from my old apartment to the venue. Again with the excuses. I'm sorry for not talking or doing anything with the video. I'm such an awkward person on camera (and basically in real life lol) so I assume you don't want to see me talk. Ever. But I managed to appear a bit in it, so that's a nice second step. Oh, and I'm still figuring out everything about this new video editor so it might be bit messy with the editing and such. But nevertheless please do enjoy this video and I'll see you in another post in the future. BYE.
